Kick off the summer with live music, handcrafted Ales, and great food in Historic Downtown Parkville, Missouri.

Main Street Parkville Association and the volunteer festival planning committee proudly announce the ninth annual Parkville Microbrew Festival, Saturday, April 21, 2012 in near English Landing Park, in Downtown Historic Parkville, Missouri.

Guests will be supplied with a commemorative logo tasting glass, a custom tasting note sheet, and live music by Kasey Rausch and Friends, Buttermilk Boys, and The Micki Tiffany Band.  Food will also be available for purchase.

You’ll taste some of the finest crafted beers from throughout the region, but buy your tickets early. This popular event sells out fast. $25 pre-ticket sales (see link above) are available now and admission is $30 per person payable at the gate the day of the festival. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy a relaxing day.  Beer will be available at the festival, but cannot be taken out of the festival grounds.  Outside alcohol will not be allowed into the festival site.

Come to Historic Downtown Parkville and further your beer education, enjoy outdoor grilled foods, live music, and a great spring day.

Free Parking

Parking is free!  Parking is available in the City Parking Lot (Main Street / McAfee), Parkville’s Farmers Market area (East Street / McAfee), Post Office (9 Hwy), Patriots Bank (9 Hwy), South Main Street (by the river West of Grigsby Field - 200 plus cars / weather permitting – as long as grounds are not wet) and Park University (9 Hwy).  You are welcome to park on any side streets as well.  Plus motorcycle parking will be available.

Free Shuttle Rides

Free shuttles rides will be available starting at noon till 7:00 p.m.  Location pick up will be the main entrance for Park University off 9 Hwy and Julian Field (East Street and 6th Street)

Getting to the Festival:

From Johnson County, KS using I-635 - Using I-635
North, cross the Missouri River and exit on Highway 9
West just after the Argosy Casino. Park University and
Parkville is only a couple of miles down Highway 9
along the Missouri River. As you enter Parkville on
Highway 9, continue straight on East First Street. Take
a left on Main Street and go over the railroad tracks.
English Landing Park is on your left on English Landing
Drive. Event staff will direct you from there.

From Johnson County, KS using I-435 - Using I-435
West and North, cross the Kansas and Missouri Rivers
and exit on Highway 45 East. After a few miles you will intersect and turn South onto Highway 9. As you enter
Parkville on Highway 9, continue straight on East First
Street. Take a left on Main Street and go over the
railroad tracks. English Landing Park is on your left on
English Landing Drive.
